FingerWeight Global's products were originally invented by a middle aged man who decided he wanted to pick up the guitar as a hobby. Without a musical background he found out relatively quickly that he didn't possess the range of motion needed to reach certain chords, which was only compounded by the fact that his fingers would fatigue after a relatively short amount of practice time. With that, he started taping Nickels (5 grams each) to his fingers during practice, and found that the increased resistance helped both his range of motion, and his overall endurance. It was a long, and winding, road from there which has now led us to the first of our Music School Feature Series where we highlight some of the teachers and music academy's around the country, illustrating just how important music and the arts are in their respective communities.
